Graduate Exams

All programs require Graduate Exam scores. To apply for graduate programs, the applicants must have ALES or GRE General exam results that meet the minimum criteria of the programs. Some programs require GMAT scores for application. Click Program Requirements to check the exam types and minimum scores of the graduate exams designated by departments.

* ALES certificates are valid for 5 years from the date of announcement of exam results.

*GRE and GMAT certificates are valid for 5 years.

Therefore, the exam results must be valid as of the date of application. Applicants who were registered in a graduate program at any university with no more than one semester break can apply to the PhD programs with ALES/LES scores that they submitted before. This exception is only valid if the old ALES/LES score of the applicant meet the minimum criteria of the program requirements. Those applicants do not need to take the ALES/LES exams again.
